new here (just got my gc)

Hi folks,
Few questions:

1) I know one has to wait 5 years after getting gc to apply for citizenship. Is this 5 years from the Receipt date for Adjustment of Status or 5 years from the day of I485 approval?

2) How long to get citizenship

3) I want to file GC for my parents. How long will that take? can i file only after getting citizenship stamped?

Im from India, residing in sanjose.

Congratulations ! ! !

In situations like this, I will always go with the date you have on your green card. More often than none, this will correspond to either of the two dates you inquired about. Good luck. I am not a solicitor so, you can always get a second opinion.
