How to renew mother's passport while waiting for i-485 interview
Hi,
Does anyone has experience renewing a passport for someone who is on B2 visa? I am looking for the particular requirements on what I need to take to the Embassy. My mother is here on visitor visa and we have applied I-485 for her. Her interview is on July 30th and her passport is expiring on July 31th. I was told by the Washington DC Indian Embassy employee that visitors can't renew their passport in USA.
