I would like to start a thread tracking OPT approvals by Nebraska Service Center please include your
1. receipt date
2. approval date
3. EAD arrival date

Mine situation:
1. Receipt Date: 04/22/2005
2 & 3. Still pending

I have a job offer with start date of Jul 25th. If you can help me post your OPT status, I will appreciate it greatly!
 
Urgent F1 AND H4 APPROVED

Folks,

Could someone please advice me on this:

1. I filed for my wife's H4 extension around September 2005.
2. I also filed for wife's F1 around October 2005.

Now, her F1 was approved in December, wherease her H4 was approved just now in Feb 2006.

Meanwhile, she has joined school on F1.

Now, could some one advice me on what here status is right now? Can she ignore the H4 approval and continue to be on F1?

Please advice!

I would think that she will be on F-1 now as she is a student. Once you change to F-1, the others will be invalid. However I am not sure about the H-4. I am not sure if you need to call or somehow let now USCIS or the change in status. Please get opinion from other people also as I am a student and not a lawer.
