O-1 Nebraska
I've had pretty bad experiences with O-1 visas from Nebraska.
My husband and I (both physicians to be employed at a big University hospital) filed last October (2001), were asked for RFE, then we were both denied, despite publications and multiple brilliant letters. Eventually my husband's was approved on re-opening because of a large grant he obtained from a big private corporation. My appeal is still pending 5 months after submission.
The first time, we filed expedited and the RFE came within 2 weeks. After we refiled, the rejection came within 4 days!!!
Our lawyer has since told us that the expedited service in Nebraska has turned out to be a "rogue unit" with many more rejections than the other units. We have since resubmitted another application for me with regular processing (receipt date was 4/24/02)and we still have not heard anything.

PS By the way, another friend, also physician, was rejected by the nebraska SC.
