Guys,

What will happen if my first name is listed as middle name and my middle name is listed as first name ?

Say for example if my actual name is

First : Rajasekhar
Middle : Rao
Last : Vankineni

my ssn, bank accounts, credit cards etc have it as

First : Rao
Middle : Rajasekhar
Last : Vankineni

and my I485, AP, EAD, Drivers License, I140, LC, Birth Certificate, H1 has it correct as

First : Rajasekhar
Middle : Rao
Last : Vankineni

Will it be a problem in the future for my I485 adjudication ... Please let ....
This has been eating my brains off for some time.

Passport?
Correct it in the social security card - with passport as evidence. Credit cards/bank accounts --- no immigration problem.
 
GCJHALAK,

There will be a slight problem when you apply SSN for your KID.
'cos my colleague had a problem like this when he went to appy SSN for hi kid..

SSN office asked him to corrrect Father's SSN first then apply for KID.
(Poor Kid to have a father who cannot spell his own name in the gn. place. )

Rajasekhar please correct with your passport also tell your attorney bout this ..

As far as I-485 adjudication is concerned, there will not be a problem. After I-485 approval, when you visit Social Security administration office for new SS card, you need to explain them and request for correction as in passport. They will take care of it. I had similar problem with first and last name interchanged while originally applied for SS card and this is how, I have resolved it, after my 485 approval.
