N400 Part 5 - Address History - No residence for few months

Hi,

I'm about to file my N400 based on the 5 years rule. I've have had my green card since August 2016.

During the last 5 years, I had 2 occasions where:
1. My lease ended, and I traveled for 2.5 months long vacation.
2. During my leases ended COVID and traveled for 5 months (159 days) while working for my U.S. based company remotely.

During these 2 trips, I did not have a residence address in the U.S., however my mailing address was set as a friend's address.

During the last 5 years I've been with the same employer, filing taxes, have car registration, car insurance to name a few.

My question is, how do to fill in the residency section for the last 5 years?
1. Should I leave these 2 periods without an address?
2. Should I put my mailing address?
3. Should I put my overseas address (does not really make sense, since my residence is still in the U.S. and was just staying with parents)

Please chime in if you have dealt with similar cases or have gone through the same situation.

Thanks
