My brother sponsored F4 for me 13 years ago, and now that my petition has been approved, he won't sign it. There are some family problems due to which he wants to take revenge on me by not signing the approved petition. I received the DS3032, I already signed it and mailed it back.
I have tried to convince him, but to no avail. I did not start a business in India all these years because he had promised me that he would sponsor my green card...but now he wants to play hardball.
If my son does not want to marry his daughter there is nothing I can do about it!
What can I do? Is there any legal recourse in this matter? I passed on several lucrative entreprunal opportunitites because he had promised me that he would sign my petition whenever it was approved. I am in the US now on a visitor visa. What legal rights do I have? I feel he is being very unfair to me.
