Hello Friends,
Just have a question on how to transfer/convert Rupees into $USD after selling a property in India. To those of you who are not familiar with my case well I am a naturalized USC and the only son of my parents and since I will be starting the process(I-130) of bringing my parents from India to US I would really like to know the process and the banks which handle such transactions. Since as you know it is not that easy to send(Foreign Exchange) money from India to US as it is heavily regulated by the RBI. (Reserve Banks of India) when it comes to Foreign Exchange. I have been researching on line on how to do that and nothing shows up. Whereas if you want to send $100 bucks to India there are a million banks and hundreds of channels. I just don't get it. I am sure there is a way after all there are a lot of Indians who migrate to other countries and they don't just forget or leave their properties and assets behind. Any help/opinion/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys.
