Hi, My mom is here for the past 6 months. We need to extend her stay and realized on her I-94 it has been stamped no extension of stay or change of status. However we thought we would file for the extension. Anyone have this situation and still got their stay extended? And is it okay to wait after her 6 month period until we hear from the immigration? Any suggestion would greatly be appreciated

same case here too. I applied for my parent's extension and yet to hear anything from INS ( almost 6 weeks ).
Does your Mom have a 10 year mulitple entry ?
btw, i did not see any no EOS or COS on my parents I-94 !!

Hope this helps :(

If the I94 states "No Extension of Status" or No Change of Status, it is difficult to believe that INS will approve an extension application. Probably just a waste of money just to risk being placed in deportation proceedings for "not being eligible at time of filing"...
