mistake on h1b approval notice

Hey y'all,

After the tedious h1b process, I finally got the hard copy of my approved h1b petition. Only problem is USCIS messed up my "COB". Now I'm guessing COB means Country of Birth. Anyway, I'm a Canadian citizen however I was born in India. On my approved petition however, my COB has been listed as Canada. I called USCIS and explained the situation. Does anyone know how long it takes them to make corrections?
 
Hi...I had the same problem on mine. They put my country of birth as my country of citizenship. I set up an appointment with the local INS office in my city and took it to them and explanied my problem. They looked over the paperwork and my passport and issued me a correction I-94 within 15 minutes. You can do it that way or you can get your lawyer to send out some for to the USCIS and they will send you a corrected I-94 but this process will take longer.
