Nelsona I need help, promoted from process Engineer to Process manager
OR
keep the duties same for Process Manager though the title is change now but duties responsiblities are same as Process Engineer as no one is reporting or no need to mention supervisory managing tasks in job description (TN letter)

URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED

If merely your title is changing, and not your functions, you don't need a new TN. If you are now managing/supervising people, you are no longer qualified for TN.

So basically it’s a New Employer with the same job functions but only the Position title is Manager. No managing or supervising of the people.

Ok, so that is not a promotion (which implies internal to the same company) That is a change of employer. And you sain, "no need to mention supervisory". If you are not doeing something why would you ask if you need to mention it?So, what are you managing if not people?

So basically by mentioning the Position Title Process Manager title will alarm them,
is this what you are saying, though responsibilities are as a sole contributor just a better pay structure and benefits

Since your letter will outline the TASKS you will be performing, even if it mentions the Title (which is not required) it should still be clear that you are not a manager, but working as an Engineer.

Thanks Nelsona so we are at conclusion here

1. So even if the letter mentions the Title Process Manager - still TASKS outlining in the letter should be clear that it is not a manager position but working as an Engineer. Right ?
2. Or the letter will not mention the Title “Process Manager” but just simply stating the duties and responsibilities. Do you think they ask about the title?

The internal title is meaningless to CBP, unless it conveys the idea that you would be doing something unauthorized by your TN. Your TN should only mention the TN category you are requesting, and the tasks you will be performing.

Do have a template of letter or sample elaborating use of just the TN category title and not the position title It will make life much easier.
