I have not done any comparative analysis of the processing time for both. But if you are in London and it appears that NVC may send your case there for processing, why do you want to travel all the way to India? The London website is attached to guide you.
But I doubt it. The CP in India takes about 3 mos. from the day they rec. the case. Only faster London I presume would be 1.5-2 mos. Would not make much of a difference.
NVC has assigned now NWD*** number . neither my lawyer nor myslef called NVC to do this. I asked them why it is done . The operator told me that she don't have the answer
Earlier I had LND*** case number now NWD*** case number. While filing for I-140 I mentioned New Delhi Consulate
It will depend on what fee rct. is issued to you. Whatever payment you make against the fee rct. of 1 case, only that will go forward. Do you have an attorney?
I'm not sure if both the case nos. are related or not? How did they assign a new case no.? Do you know for what case no. the fee bill is generated?
First decide on what path you want to follow, LDN or NWD. Then ask your attorney to follow up with NVC to have the case assigned to the right consulate.
When I called NVC with the LND number they told me that new case number is assigned that is NWD so they must have generated the fee bill with NWD case number . It does'nt matter for me either its London or Delhi
When I check the AVM status with either of case number I get the same answer
