I\'ve lived in the US for 6 years now, and for 4 years I studied and had a f1 status but stopped a couple of years ago, a couple of months ago my father and two brothers were tortured and killed in Colombia and the rest of my family receives daily threats, will it be safe to apply for asylum now eventhough I\'ve lived here for so long. I spoke with a lawyer and although she did not pay much attention to the evidence, she said I run the risk of being denied a hearing and being deported to colombia. I am fearful that I would have to go back, so in your opinion what are the odds?
