Legal right\'s of an H1 B1 holder

Hi!!
My name is Martin. I came to USA on Sep 2000, since then I am on bench. Until now my consultant has not been able to place me. Now he\'s asking me to return to India. During this period he has not paid me any money. So, I am planing to Sue him, regarding this I want to know the following:

1. Whome to contact?
2. Will I get my pay for all the period of my stay in USA?
3. What about my H1 status during legal procedure?
4. Can my consultant cancel my H1 if i sue him?
pls help!!! MATTER UTMOST IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!

Hi
I applied for my H1B from H4 on April 30th 2001 and it was filled on May 15th 2001 and I got my H1B on July 9th 2001.
For My Husband there company applied for extension of H1B and filled on June 8th 2001 that time they filled for my H4 also and got approved on July 16th 2001.
I started working in company from July 10 oh 2001
I want to know either my status for H1B is valid or not.
