LA best PP stamping location?

Does anyone know if you have to go to the INS office specified in the approval notice? Mine says 300 N. Los Angeles St. but I don\'t want to wait up all night. What are the options? I heard there is a new office in Santa Ana. Will they accept applications assigned to other centers?
Any input appreciated.

I was their at Santa Ana last week friday,even though my approval notice said to go to LA,reached civic center at 6:30 am,their was about 30 people ahead of me, gate was open at 7:00am.Got ticket # 7.
At 8:30 my number was called in, after 10 minutes I was out, no question asked.
