I'm on L1A visa valid until Oct 27, 2013, when I'll be completing 3 years. Current I-94 is valid until Feb 2015 (issued for 3 years when I re-entered US in Feb 2012).
My I129S petition has same date as Visa date, but it was based on blanket L Petition of my employer valid 'Indefinitely' as I see from the blanket 797 notice.
My employer is filing GC in EB1, I sent all documents and due for submission in a week time.
But, unfortunately, I may have to travel for a family function unavoidable next month and come back in first week of Oct.
My L1 extension is not filed because my employer said, as I'm on blanket petition and I-94 is valid until Feb 2015.
Request advise on following.
1. Can I come back on my current Visa in first week of Oct and will I have a problem at POE?
2. Will I-94 be issued base don Visa/I129 expiry or based on blanket petition?
3. Should I ask my employer to hold on GC document submission until I come back?
