L1 or H4 ? Whats better option ?

Hi

I got married in Dec-05 & came back to US.I'm on H1B , 7th year extension.My wife works for reputed IT company in India. She has her H4 appointment in April 2nd week. Her company says that now they will file her L1 visa which should be approved in 1 month time. The stamping might require new interview & that would be some time in June -July as per today's processing times.This will delay her coming here.

My questions are

1) What more beneficial to us , should she come on L1 or H4B ?
2) Can she come on H4 & then start working on her approved L1 ?
3) Her L1 can give me L2 status & Can I get my EAD which would enable me to work for any employer ?
4) If her GC is filed thru her employer, that will be fast correct ? No Labor process ?

1. Depends on what benefit you are looking for.
2. No. She has to change her status.
3. Yes, but there might be li mit.
4. if she is on L1B, most likely she can not skip LC. And faster LC process and slow retrogression makes L1A who can skip LC less beneficial in terms of processing time.
