Hi,

I have filed for my I485 on May 13 and got my EAD on July 13.I am getting job offers for full time opening as well as w2 Contractor.Can I take up that offer?

I read somewhere that I need to wait for 180 days and can change job only after that.Is it true ? what will be the consequences if I take up the offer now.
 
Yes, you must wait for 180 Days to complete after you file your 485 to change employer, in order for you I-485 to be valid for approval.

Consequences in not abiding .. someone in this forum can help you with exact details ..
