kid’s finger print

After 3-4 weeks of our finger print, I called FBI to check the status. A lady picked-up the phone and said, that for me and my wife, report was sent back USCIS same day. When I asked about my kid who is 10 year old, she was unable to find his record and finally she said I’m not sure if usually USCIS sends kid’s finger print (who is 10 year old) to RBI.

Is this normal? Does USCIS send the sends kid’s finger print (who is 10 year old) to RBI?

Any input would be really appreciated.

Kids under 15 years of age not required to send...thats what I was told when I asked in FBI office...only Adults. Hope this helps. Thanks.
