I asked her about FP as I filled in Aug22,RD 8/23,ND 11/1
FP -----She told me FP is acheduled thru automatic computer system and mine has been qued up in the system in oct so she said I should rec. any day. There is nothing they can do as now it is automated. It can take upto 6 months but she also told me if I do not rec. anything by dec , give back a call to them.
AP and valid H-1 visa - She told me on strange thing - i.e once u filled 485 your h-1 is void and u have to use AP and not visa, since I have H-1 approved for another 3 yrs and has to get it stamped , she said I should carry all my documents ,since insepector at POE can ask for AP.
I asked her will I be able to get my h-1 stamped , she said it is upto the consulate.
But my lawyer said I shuld be able to use my H-1 and no AP. who is right andmy lawyer is Mr.Khanna and he is very good.
Also 485 prosessing continues and does not stop during ur vacation , if it not extended one.
