Hi,
I received the card and iam assuming that i dont need pp stamping. Please correct me if iam wrong. Also can i take a xerox copy of the card, my lawyer asked me to send a copy..

Card received without Stamping!

Hello All,
i received the card even before i did the passport stamping. Would i still need the passport stamping?
I have a valid H1B visa in my passport. Should i go to a USCIS office and have it invalidated. Please Advice.

485 approval - 26th may,05
Card Ordered - 26th May, 05
Card Posted - 1st June, 05
Card Received - 6th June, 05

Further, the Card was forwarded from my old address where it went. The envelope did not have "Return Service Requested" printed on it as most people say.
 
Got plastic cards for me and my wife...

End of the journey by GOD grace...Got PP stamping on May 9th...

LUDs: May 17th, 26th, Jun 3rd, Jun 6th...

Our dates are too exact to be true!!! Was your status updated online properly. No activity was there on my case till today. And all of a sudden, after a week of PS, I got 8 mails for my and my spouse's approval!! Pls. keep me posted on your card details. For a friend of mine, it took just 2 weeks for the plastic card to arrive. His PS was done in Mar 2005.
 
ssampy, I got 4 emails today!!!!!!!!!!!with change in LUD!

I did get 4 emails saying that my case and my wife case is approved and it 14 days pass and u donot reveive blaw-------bla----
we are in same boat!!!!!!
may be next week we should get PC

Any NY city experience

I got my PP stamped in NY city on June 06, 2005 (I-485 AD: May 17, 05) BUT no info after that.

Any experience of NY city stamping and card receiving?? How much time it usually takes??
