Great job milk

milk, you do a great job, the first thing I do when I read the discussion list is to look for your most recent updated list which gives a clear picture of whats going on at VSC.

I keep calling the AVM to check for the magic to happen, but it seems
like forever. God luck to you and all waiting on this discussion board. The "Lazy-Officer-theory" is killing me.

Hello, everybody. My I-485 got approved yesterday.

My whole family\'s I-485 got approved at the same day, 3/25 as
per AVM. Light up guys, tomorrow will be your turn.

I got an interview

I called VSC AVM today and heard the following message :
"On 03/25/2002 your case to adjust to permanent resident status has been transferred to Newark/Teterboro office to schedule and interview. It may take several month to schedule and interview"

What does this mean guy?
Has anyone had and interview and what does normally happen in an interview?
Does it really take several months?
 
amarmistry nothing to worry about interview

Keep all of your documents ready , they hardly spend few min\'s with you , Interview officers are very polite so there is not much to worry .They say it takes months but you will get it with in fews weeks hardly 4 or 5 ...! i am saying all these with one of my friends past experience .
 
amarmistry are you still planning to Travel to India Now ?

I know you are between projects right now. you said in one of our previous forum that your wife is already in India on AP ! when is she coming back to USA , i suggest you to postpone your travel plan until you are sure of your interview date . Good luck man .you are the first july RD guy having interview ...when scheduled let us know your experience with the officer .

No, I think I also said in one of my previous post that I dropped the plan to goto India.
4-5 weeks.... before I get interview... Great! It just keeps getting better and better. I hope I get it sooner so I can just get over and be done with it.
