isn't it time for Aug Visa bulletin???

Rumor mill says USCIS may accept AOS applications as per the initial July Visa bulletin?

again who knows its USCIS, but most of the law firms recommend to be prepared (or even go-ahead and file) AOS applications for the rest of the month.

along the same lines HLG recommends (usually this firm is very reluctant to comment on rumors) asked their clients to be prepared to file in July.Also HLG provided step by step process involved preparing I-485 applications.

yes,i am aware of the fact that this is a rumor.you mentioned it. I was just checking whether its on its way to become a reality.i hope so.If not anything it will give us work permits as a relief of endless waiting to get GC.

Seems like Aug Bulletin is yet to be released.

Lets hope that the letter from Rep. Lofgren to USCIS has some impact on USCIS and USCIS will request DOS to come up with a bulletin based on available numbers with DOS. Also, lets put an effort and thank Rep. Lofgren for understanding the difficulty and injustice. We should thank her and request her to work with USCIS and get a memo, so I485 application is not dependent on visa numbers but only adjudication.
