is there anybody around here waiting for approval of dependents?

My application was approved on May 23rd 2007 but my wife's & son's application is still pending. They say its with an adjudicating officer for last 3 weeks.
My wife already had an RFE (birth cert) which was received by USCIS on May 22nd.

Is there anybody in the same boat?

What is the type of BC RFE you got?
Did you submit BC for your wife ?(I got one as I have submitted BC with latest 2003 registered date)
How did you respond to this RFE? please advise me

1> u need two affidavits from close relative mom or dad or uncle etc stating full name, date, place of birth & reason for late registration of BC. ( u can state that its the norm in our country)
2> additionaly school leaving certificate or 10th passing certificate WOULD BE GOOD if it has name, DOB & place of birth.
3> provide voter id card or similar document that has parent's name, ur name and the place of birth
 
I applied in March '05, got approved in Dec '05. Wife (dependent, applied at same time, March '05) is still waiting pending name check.
