Is there any template for TN offer letter?

I have an employer that is very interested in me and would give me an offer, however, they have never processed TN before. They asked me if there is any sample offer letter template that they can follow to send me a letter for getting TN status at the border.

If you don't have one, do you mind to share what are the information they need to provide on the offer letter?

Thanks.

You can google it yourself.. may get some samples...

Example: https://www.winthrop.edu/uploadedFiles/international/facultystaffresources/TNSampleLetter.pdf

At a bare minimum, it should list the following :

It can be addressed to CBP Officer at Port of Entry

Should list your citizenship and your details

and under what category they want the TN to be issued and the duration

Write your role and responsibilities

Thanks a lot for your reply.

If the offering title is "Senior Computer Programming Developer", what category should TN to be issued? Is there any list of categories that I can use?

Thanks.

If you are going to do programming then, I don't think they will issue a TN. The only closest thing that may fit into your job is Computer System Analyst. Again, I am not sure what job duties/responsibilities you are going to do. But, if it is programming, there is no path forward

Thanks a lot for your answer.

When I go to the border for TN, what material should I bring? Do I need to bring the original offer letter or faxed letter is enough?

Passport?
Degree scroll?
Passport?
What else do I need to bring?

For my first TN (back in 2015), I had been to Rainbow Bridge, NY POE - I took the following with me

1. TN Support Letter issued by my employer (it can be original or faxed copy also should be fine (as long as its clear and readable)
2. Offer Letter
3. Detailed Resume
4. Educational Credentials and evaluation reports
5. Original Passport
6. Money to pay the I-94 fee

Hi CDN9,

what does the evaluation report refer to? If my degree was obtained from USA, what kind of evaluation report do I need?
