Is Spouse Eligible for SSN??

Gurus,

My spouse's EAD is approved on June 24th. We applied in the middle of March.

Will she be eligible to get an SSN for her. I got my GC approved this April.

Also I would like to ask, is there something that I need to change on my SSN card.

Please kindly respond.

since spouse's EAD is approved , she is eligible to get an SSN
I dont know in your case whether you should get a new one or not. When you go to SSA office for your wife i think you should ask them.
 
Your wife can get a SSN with the EAD.

You have to get a new card (number will stay the same), without the "work authorization" comment.

You need to apply for an SSN for your wife showing the EAD. And also, in your case, apply for a new SSN (same #) for you removing the restriction ('valid for work with INS authorization only').
