Is it possible to approval to dependent members of I485 without primary approval?

I have received approval notice of the I140/I485 by email from USCIS-CSSO.
But, the USCIS-CSSO has been approved to dependent members of I485 only.
The USCIS didn't send the approval email of primary of I485. I don't understand
this heppen, Is it possible to approval to dependent members of I485 first
without primary approval?

Both spouses' cases don't have to be approved together all the times. Each case is processed independently.

according to my attorney they have never heard of theis ( they though mine was approved as message had changed to " the docuemnt made based on approval etc" so they said this was unlikely)

The only thing I can think is that yours is also ont he way and they have failed to update status, or at least minute of approval something flagged up to check for you. It is usual for spouses to not be approved at the same time, but not for derivatives to be approved BEFORE the primary. If you do not get yours soon- follw the steps liste don here and call service center telling them your case has been separated- this gives you an in and will elt you speak to an officer.

Derivative 485 approval notice recevd but primary not received.

medical RFE on primary recevd by USCIS Feb 7th

LUD changes on primary: Feb 8th, Feb 9th
LUD changes on derivative: Feb8th, Feb 9th

Derivative approval letter recvd Feb 14th
Primary: Nothing recevd yet !

Did your dependents schedule an appointment to get their passports stamped or are they going to wait till your approval comes?

Not yet, But, I will....

I spoke with my attorney for this heppen few days ago. She said that,
Just wait a month for primary approval notice. If they have no any action,
she is going to do something or investigation.

However, I have no problem to make an appointment for the passports
stamping and I-551(Plastic Card) with dependents members.

Hi Jay

I went home yersterday and found primary approval notice and approval notice of dependent in my mailbox ! Both cases were approved on Feb 10 2005. Online status still has not changed and neither is the phone status changed.

I think your's should be coming soon !

Your case details (above) shows EB3 labor PD Jan 2003 and you show that I485 was approved for your dependants...taht is good news. If it is true that gives me some positive hope . My labor PD is July 2002 and I485 RD Feb 2004 My case was also RIR EB3 NSC ...no progress so far on my I485 but your case gives me some hope.
Any comments on my case?

What's the steps/procedure you mentioned? I would like to call them up and ask why my wife (dependent) is approved while I'm waiting. Thanks.
