Is it common that a primary applicant gets an approval much later?

Hi,
I posted a happy message a week ago that I got an approval of my I485.
But my husband who is a primary applicant still didn\'t get his I485 approved. Is it common and why it can happen?
Thx

Normally all the family members will get approved at the same time.
Did you file the 485 application together?
Are your A-numbers next to each other?
Have you checked both your fingerprint results from FBI?

Wait for a few more days. If the approval notice still doesn\'t arrive, go to local INS together with your husband and all documents needed for passport stamping.
When approaching the officer in local INS for your passport stamping, ask (s)he to check your husband\'s case status.

Please refer to the "Passport Stamping w/o 485 Approval Notice" posted today in this discuss board.

Yes, we filed together, and our numbers are closed.
The only difference is that after we did FP he got a FP notice again, but it said "ignore if you have done FP alrady". So we ignored it.
May be they lost his FP?
We don\'t know how to check FP status with FBI, but I guess there is an info somewhere in this forum.

We\'ve got almost the same situation. I\'ve been FPed about a month ago (I am the main applicat) but my wife did not get her FP notice so far. We\'ve called a few times to INS and spoke to IIO. Still waiting..
