Is Infopass scheduling required for FP

No. You don't need infopass as your already have an appointment time and date on the FP notice sent to you by CIS.
 
If you don't have infopass, you have to wait in a long line of 'general applicants'. if you have infopass, you breeze through.
at least thats what i noticed in Boston.

The FP notice

specifies a time - implying an appointment. I dont think you need to take a seperate appointment. If there was a need for a seperate appt. I am sure they would have asked you to take an infopass appt.

My 2cents - anyone who has already gone through a FP should be able to corrobrate the same.
