My father appeared for his interview today. Everything went fine. His letter has the first box checked that says "you passed the tests of English and US history ... ". It also has the other box checked that says "We will send you a written decision about your application". My father had applied for name change 5 years ago while filling out his naturalization application. According to USCIS officer it will take couple more weeks to process the name change application.
Any one has similar experience? Does it mean that he has passed and now just because of name change we have to wait for more time? And does any one know how long does this take?
