Hi all

Please help and guide me


I got the file no. on 28th Jan 2002, today for the first time it shows when I checked the e-status "In Process"

Does that mean that I will be getting the medicals anytime now?

Have all the enquiries been made, when it shows "In Process"?

What stage is this, I mean what has been done on their part till now?

I am pretty new to this forum. Could someone tell me how to check the status of canadian PR using a 1-800 number or a from a website.

g_m111 - i have seen only two messages as status there - either "In Progress" or "Decision Made". i dont know if there are any other status that really come there. and as far as i know, "In Process" is not indicative of anything except that they have started working on your file. but looking at the timeframe with others in the forum, its been an year now for you and you should be hearing from them soon, i guess. sometimes, the site is not accurate in the status reports, so don't worry about it too much. good luck to you.

i dont think the 1-800 number gives you the application status anymore. i dont think there is a 1-800 number anymore. anyway, this is the link to the online services of CIC:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/index.html

go here and click on "e-Client Application Status". then you will need to go with the instructions and you need your file no, applicant's last name and date of birth. hope this helps, good luck.
