IIO says case pending for more info

I spoke to an IIO today, she said that my case is with an officer, but her\'s the caveat: It seems the officer has requested for some info from another govt agency??? She said she didnt have any more details.

Does anyone have a clue as to what agency & what info she\'s talking about?

You have said that your case was with an officer(same as assigned?) and that the officer has asked for additional info from other govt agencies. Did she say that the your case is \'pending\'? (your title says so). The reason why i ask is, i was told that my case is \'pending\' when i called at the end of july. But she never mentioned anything about it being with an officer and refused to give any other info. Some of the posts on this board mentions that \'pending\' could be because of CIA check but nobody knows for sure.
