iEAD process if I don't get new card?

My renewal of EAD (03-130-XXX) got approved today and my current EAD expires on July 7.

I wonder if I have to go to iEAD process if I don't get the new card before the expiration date.

My EAD renewal was approved on 6/3 and I got my card yesterday-- 6/16.

You should get your card in a couple of weeks.

Per my attorney, you can apply for an IED if you don't receive your card by 7/7.

Better to be safe than out of status.

When I went for my iEAD at San Jose, the officer told me that my EAD was approved the previous day & hence she cant give me a iEAD...If I still want a card she said it will cost me $120....I guess worst case you could do that...or wait...

Mine was approved May 27th - still to receive card...I dont know what to do with these chaps...
