We finally got I485 approved on 09/01.
EB3-India, PD 10/96, ND 09/99, FP 02/01. Didn\'t contact any Senetor or Cong\'man.
Got passport stamped at San Antonio. There was some problem
since my wife didn\'t have Texas id (we moved recently, she has Florida id) but finally they stamped her
passport as well.
It has been a very long wait for us. This site and all you guys have been a great help. Shusterman.com was
of some help too.

can you give details about your experience at san antonio, my case has been assigned to an officer and I might have to go for stamping very soon at san antonio. what doc\'s they asked you and your experience at san antonio.

The process is very simple. Passport, i-94, photo (without glass, if
you are wearing one) and i485 notice are all that is required.
i485 notice tells you what to bring.
We went there at 7AM, was only the 2nd applicant. Got out at 8:15am.
