I485 Approved after waiting 5yrs and 7 months

I have received I 485 approval e mail on january 9th, 2006. it says that approval notice has been mailed to me on 01/09/2006 and to call them if I do not receive it in 14 days. however at some recent approvals they mention that green card has been sent to address. Am i going to receive green card in the mail or is it going to be approval notice?

I wish you get your approvals sooner than expected.
 
5 years 7 months had past... still counting

Congratulation !!! I would think you will get your card in the mail very soon.

My PD is your start date, May/2000, EB3, World wide. Still counting the days.... :(

May I ask when was your last FP/Bio code 3? I just had my bio code 3 lately, was wondering how you have waited after the last FP/Bio.

I485 approved too!

I also received an email notification on Jan10 that after approving the 485, they will mail the card. Today, Jan 13, I received another email notification that the approval notice was mailed today. I am also confused if we should get the notice or the card? If we get the notice before the card, should we go for stamping then?
