I140 ---NOT--- transferred from CSC to TSC

Hi folks,

Iam just starting a new thread for the people whose 140 is still with CSC and
that was NOT transferred to TSC as part of USCIS "bi-specialization".
My case was concurrently filed in September '05 and it is still pending with CSC.

I do see through my scanner script that there are some cases around
Sept-Oct '05 time-frame, that are in same state saying "we received your
application on ... etc" rather than saying "we transferred your case to TSC ... etc etc".

There are couple of such cases on 001st day. There few more 258, 002 too.
Wondering whether those guys are on this board? or just watchers or just
not all on this/any board.

Please, update your status.

me too

I called receiptist in uscis. She said that my I-140 might be at csc.
Then, I asked
"is it possible my case has been transferred to TSC without notifying us"
she replied "I am not sure".

=========
EB2 RD: 09/30/2005, all 485's of my family members but mine were
transferred to TSC on Mar. 23.

Except your I140, rest of 485s are transferred to TSC?
Whats 140's ND & Priority date? and were there any LUDs? Fingerprints done?

Actually, I know there are some more cases sitting with CSC. I don't think it
is a notification error. It could be possible that some body is seeing at our
cases, and does not wanted to TSC as it was processed to some extent.

But in my case, none of the concurrently filed petitions are sent to TSC.
So thats why I rule out that possibility of "notification" error.

Iam thinking of Initiating an inquiry through my attorney. Its been a long time
since I filed my 140 petition. In a week or two, its going to be 8th month
since I filed.

What do you think? Are you going to initiate an inquiry too?

Because, CSC-TSC transfer might have left some case at CSC and no one
knows about that, until we make inquiry. Correct! But, I have done
concurrent filing of all petitions, though my EAD/AP are approved, the online
status is still not updated.

I ever asked my attorney for an inquiry but he told me that
my 140 & 485 must have been transferred to TSC, and it is absolutely
impossible to separate cases of one family. So, he rejected to
do it.

I am thinking of calling uscis again.

By the way, your 140 WAC receipt number (first 5 numbers) 06002 -or- 05260?

Iam SUSPECTING that, some how USCIS is NOT updating my online case
status. Because, I had filed EAD/AP concurrently with 140, 485. After few
weeks I had received EAD/AP approvals in mail.... but the online status is
not updated, and even today it STILL says "we have received your case..."

So, some how they are not updating the case status. Later, I went for
"finger prints" at local ASC. But again, there is no LUD change.

Who knows, they might have forwarded my case to TSC by not updating
the online status. So... may be we should not worry about the online case
status at all.

borderline

My 140 is probably THE borderline case. My case number is 060035xxxx. RD is Oct3rd.
They sent an RFE on ability to pay on March 7th instead of transferring to TSC.
Yesterday they changed the status to Response to RFE has been received.

GCPlan

I thought there were some of the September 140s are also transferred to TSC.
Is that not true?

By the way, what was your RFE?

Oh!!

Did they ask for ability to pay, though you had submitted pay stubs when 140 filed?

Last 18 cases on first working day (001)

I searched through my scanner database for 140s, and found that CSC-TSC
transfers were "started" from the last 18 cases on "001" day. They are actually
filed in SEPTEMBER '05.

Another week of silence

Not sure where my case is sitting CSC or TSC?

Online status says its in CSC. But that status is not reliable, because its not getting updated for long time, though my other cases (EAD/AP) are already approved, but the online status says "we received..."

Based on the analysis, almost all cases with notice date of OCTOBER are transferred to TSC. So should I assume it went to TSC?

Folks, what do you think....

Iam totally LOST. Its been more than 7 1/2 months now!

Online status is not correct, because this is not being updated for long time on any of the case in my portfolio, though some of them are already approved, it still says "we received..." Based on the analysis, almost all cases with notice date of OCTOBER are transferred to TSC.

If I go with online status, it says CSC. But the online status is un-reliable.
If I go with Analogy or USCIS recent re-shuffle, my case should've gone to TSC.

Folks, what do you think.... Iam totally LOST. Its been more than 7 1/2 months
now and still the same story, as it was day one.

Talk to your attorney/employer and initiate a query.

srignram

I told the situation to Attorney, now its up to the attorney to decide.
I "can not" ask them to initiate inquiry. Is there any alternative. I don't think
it will be helpful if I call 1(800) number too. I gave fingerprints ... online status
not updated, after that I got EAD/AP approvals... online status not updated...

Its now close to 8th month in 10days.
