I got my I-485 approval today !!!

Finally I got my I-485 approval today. I didn't get notification directly, but my attorney told me that, my case, my wife's case and my daughter's case, all got approved and the cards have been ordered. Later on I checked the status update on the USCIS site.

Dear friends, my 5 and half years of pain journey has finally come to an end and I can't explain how relaxed I am today. I am thankful to all the guys in this forum who helped me keep my moral up by sharing information.

This is what the message says on the USCIS site:

"On June 7, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service"

My case details:

EB3 / INDIA / PD 11/29/2001

I-140 Filed: 08/19/2004 Received: 08/20/2004 Approved: 01/25/2005
I-485 Filed: 08/19/2004 Received: 08/20/2004 Approved: 06/07/2007

I had 3 EADs and 2 APs done and I recently filed on 05/21/2007 my 4th EAD and 3rd AP.

My first FP was done in June 2005 and second FP was done in May 2007.

Did they take picture on your latest FP. What is the code on your latest FP.
 
I did my 2nd FP, last month, May 12th 2007. The Code was FP1 and no they didn't take our pictures, just the finger prints.

Once you have given second FP in May, did you check about your security check???
If yes what did they told????
 
After I did my FP, I called TSC to check the status after couple of weeks, but they didn't tell me anything about security/name check. They said, the information is confidential, but your case is ready for approval.

Two days after I spoke with the TSC officer, I got "magic mails".

Congratulations Guys !!! Happy for y'all. Is there a pattern for this, my ND for 485 seems to be before yours, but movements so far on my cases. Any suggestions. You know calling these guys doesn't help.

May be, you are struck in the name check process like me. Did you check?

Call TSC and find out. You can talk to an immig. office using POJ method

dial 1 800 375 5283 then 1-2-2-6-1 enter SRC# then 1-1-3-4 you can talk with imm. officer directly

Ask them if your name check has been cleared.

calling up tsc customer rep , gives no answers , plus they are very rude

I was able to start a service request on my case today, finally after trying 4-5 times, the number starts with T1F...VSC, she asked me to call back after 45 days if I dont hear anything regarding this request, lets see.

BTW as per my last call to texas service center my name check was
 
p235, I tried the options you suggested for finding the status of the name check, the immi officer (i guess) said she does not have access to the system and asked me to try a different number. Is it just that she is uncooperative or is it true they do not have access to the system? When did you last call? thanks.

Keep trying till you get a good officer. I call almost every other day and they tell me the same thing (name check pending).
Last time I called was yesterday
