Hi,
My parents Visitors Visa Info :

Visa at Chennai Consulate :
Visa Issue Date : May 25th 2004
Visa Expiry Date: Nov 24th 2004

At the Chicago Port of Entry :
I-94 Issue Date : June 6th 2004
I-94 Expiry Date : Dec 4th 2004

As you can notice, their visa expires on Nov 24th but the I-94 is valid until Dec 4th. Which one should take precedence?
Can they stay legally until Dec 4th (As per I-94 validity) or should they have to leave by Nov 24th (As per visa expiry date).?
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

visa expiration date= the date on or before the visa holder can apply for admission into US.
I-94 date= the last date upto which you can stay legally in the US.

these 2 dates can be different.
Visitor visas are regularly issued with 10 year expiration. That does not mean that a person can stay in the US for 10 years.
