I-90 filed , Travel question

I filed I-90 for replacement. My old card will expire after 6 months.
Shall I go abroad using my present green card ( still valid one) eventhough I-90 is filed ?

Will this pose a problem when border security checks and finds replacement card under process?

Wow.. you have green card for 10 years... and did not apply for citizenship??

There should be no problem as long as you return before the expiry of the card.

Why do you think there will be problem?

You can take I-90 receipt with you just in case.

yes you can travel cause your gc doesn't expire until another 6 months just don't stay abroad through your expiration date.
