I-864

I am filing the form I864 for my parents but I see there's a technical error I am getting. In part 5 , Question 8, it asks to enter the total of household members (add Q.1-7) but it has "1" pre-populated in this field and no matter what I put in fields before it, it doesn't update automatically and stays at 1. Even if I download a fresh form from USCIS website, it downloads with "1" pre-populated and doesn't update or let me delete it. What are my options here? I hear white-out is not really appreciated by USCIS but I am sort of stuck with this pre-populated "1". Pls see attached.

I am filling I-864 each for my parents (mom and dad). My income is well above the guidelines so I dont need a I-864a from my wife (household) to combine the incomes. However, we file our taxes “married filing jointly” so all IRS tax forms (evidence for I-864) have our combined incomes and names on them.

My question is should I plan to file I-864a from my wife as well ? Will showing additional household sponsor and income help or create issues (specially when it is not needed as my income suffices as well.) Thoughts ?

I tried that. Using the Adobe Acrobat DC but the Q8 is still not editable or updating per previous entries. The javascript is enabled as well.

We are doing i-864 (myself as sponsor) and i-864a (my wife as household member) for my parents. In i-864, there are fields in Part 6 q24a - 24c, where they ask for last 3 years of tax return total incomes ? We file our taxes as Married filing jointly and thus have both my (sponsor) and my wife’s (household member) incomes as combined reported on tax returns .
My question is what total incomes I should put in i-864 (myself) and i-864a (my spouse) ? Should I put total combined income as in our tax returns or try to see how much we had individually for those years. Thanks.
