I 551 stamp at San jose ?

To get the stamping done at san jose, what is a suitable time to go there ?
Does it have to be early in the morning ? Is there a separate queue ?

There is no separate line...You should go early in the morning, approx between 4:00 and 5:00 am to make it by 10:00 am. You can also take an appt. through your attorney. It's much easier and efficient.

Lines have reduced since the appt. system began so.....Make sure your are not there on Thursday, it's the shortest working day for them.
 
My attorney does not know about I-551 Appointments

Could you please help me and let me know the name of an attorney that knows the process of getting an appointment?
Staying in line at 4AM with two 4 years old boys is not my ideal dream :)

Also, anybody can confirm or deny that S JOse USCIS is now indeed accepting passport format photographs for the green cards ?

Go about 9am and you will be done in a couple hours.
Stamping is a separate line as soon as you are inside the building
and moving pretty fast after 9am.
Though, it depends on day and your luck.

Passport photo Ok.
