I-485 approved after 3 years 1 month

Just now got approval emails from USCIS-CSSO (2 for me and 2 for my wife), and didn't get e-mails from CRIS.

This has been a long journey for me as I was waiting for NC to complete
from 10/2003. I did my FP2 on 10/21/2006, some guys who did FP during
that time frame can expect the good news any time. I can't express how
useful this forum is, you can expect an answer for any type of question here.

Wish you all the best and hope you get the GC very soon, just watch for FP.

Here is the message.

This case has been approved. On November 15, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

Congrats !!! good news . Nice to see they are approving EB3 -India cases with PD before April 22,2001 .

BTW Are there any recent LUDs on your and your wife's I-485, I-140, EAD or AP? If so then can you pelase specify the LUDs you got since you FP on 10/21/2006.

I have only two LUD's for my I-485 and my wife's I-485 after FP2 i.e., on 10/23 and 11/04. No LUD's changed on I-140 or EAD or AP.

I gave FP-2 code-1 on 10/20/2006

And FP1 in November, 2006.

I dont know about the second FP you said, check my signature I got mine August 23 and still in limbo. :mad:

Club-4 ==> My FP Code in notice is Code1 but when I went to ASC they
took Code3, I think these days they are doing Code3 if you have not done
it in earlier FP's. In most of the cases I see whatever code they mention on
Notice is irrelevent and it depends on the clerk or his officer who does that.

Colonel ==> Sorry to see your case still pending. What is your PD and when
did you give your first FP and also when your case sent to FBI for NC.
What I assume is if you are not getting FP notices for every 15 months
then your case is stuck in NC and when they issue 2nd FP then it is assumed that all checks are done.

In my case I contacted each and everyone and on 10/01/2006 I sent FOIPA
to FBI and they replied it on 10/23/2006 with No records Found.
I don't know which one triggered my NC clear, but you can do this if you have not done it yet - Kirdar

Hope you have given Code2 or Code3 in your first FP.
And wait for less than 30 days (these days USCIS saying within 60 days)
you should get an approval email.
