I-485 and AOS

No Title

My I-485 and AOS papers have been sent to the INS today(EB3)
Any idea how long is it taking these days for INS to complete the entire process ??
My lawyers have given me a timeline which is scary. According to them, INS is taking :
4 months for I-131 (AP)
5 months for I-765 (EAD)
18 months for I-485 application

Is that true ?? :(( I can\'t imagine working here for another 1.5yrs!! groan!!

Lawyers are usually very conservative if you want them to promise anything.

Currently it takes about 3 months for AP/EAD, 6~9 months for AOS.
But nobody can predict what will change tomorrow.
