I-140 / H1 Question URGENT !!!

Hello Everybody;

Right now i will get a result for my I-140 about in 10 days !!!
If it gets declined, will i be out of status right away ?
Because i have a 7th year H1 and it will expire on Jan 2008 !!!

So will i be out of status right away or am i eligible to use my H1 till Jan 2008 ??

Please let me know !!!

H1 remains valid even if I-140 is denied.
