I-140 approval received now what

After many sad and bitter years of waiting, my DOL labor cert was approved. Now my I-140 has been approved as well. My I-485 was filed the same day as my I-140, (on Jan. 7, 2005). What happens now? How much longer do I need to wait. I am tired and weary and homesick and stuck at a job I detest. Please help if you can. Any response is appreciated...

Wait 180 days starting with Jan 7th and change the employer, or wait till 485 is aproved (It is taking between 365 and 540 days to process 485).
