I-140/485 approved

I just got an email from USCIS that my I-140 and I-485 were approved yesterday (without any RFE). I applied for labor certification on August 16th 2001 and labor got approved in March of 2004.

I-140/485 case details

I-140/485/765/131: RD 08/03/2004
ND 08/09/2004
Service Center: California Service Center.
I-131/765: AD 12/03/2004
I-140: LUD change history: 08/11/2004; 02/04/2005 (I called to change my address so thought that this update was because of change of address request) and 02/16/2005(approval)
I-140 AD: 02/15/2005

I-485: LUD change history: 08/11/2004 (application was received by USCIS), 09/01/2004 (finger print update); 02/04/2005 (probably because of change of address request)and 02/16/2005 (approval).

BTW, I sent an email to FBI name check inquiry system (on October 19th 2004) and got a reply back from them (on 01/15/2005) that my name check inquiry was still pending and they would notify USCIS as soon as they complete the name check.
 
How does FBI name check work ? How would one know that ones application is waiting for name check results ?

Tareen: Did you have any postal enquiries ? Do you mind sharing what questions you asked in your email to FBI ? What address did you send it to ?
 
I didn’t send FBI any snail mail rather I just sent them an email asking them to give me the status of the name check inquiry initiated by USCIS on my behalf. BTW their email address is FBINNCP@ic.fbi.gov.

What were the contents of your email to FBI? A#, WAC#, SSNo?
DOB?

------A#,SSN, DOB, Home phone number, Home address and ofcourse my full name :).
