Hi, all - I am a US Citizen planning to apply Green Card for my dad (who is currently in US). I am looking to find if my dad needs a marriage certificate for application?
When my parents got married in 1985, they did not have a marriage certificate. Now what are my options to prove my father is my father considering my mother has passed away?

I have the following documents

1. My birth certificate showing both my parent's names
2. My dads passport showing my mom's name as his wife
3. My mom's death certificate showing my dad's name as her husband
4. My mom's old passport showing my dad's name as her husband

Would any of the above document help? What other secondary evidence do I need to provide? Please please advise.

Thanks all for reading this!

I am also in same boat. father marriage certificate not available and mother passed away. Was your case approved ?
