Hi all,

If you e-file, does the TN supplement for I-129 need to be mailed in as supporting documentation, or is this incorporated into the efile process?

Thanks in advance.

I am actually looking for the same answer. Please share your findings incase if you manage to get some info on that. I couldn't locate any info on the same at uscis site that whether or not it should be sent along with the rest of the supporting documents.

After comparing the printed form and the efile form, I realized that the supplement form must not be required anymore. If you look at Part 2 - Q5, there are only 3 categories available now although on the printed form there were six (a - f). The supplement form was earlier required for 5th option:

"option e. Extend the status of a non-immigrant classification based on a free trade agreement (see free trade supplement for TN and H1B1 to form I-129)"

which is not there anymore hence it must be incoporated as part of the online I-129 form since the third option that is applicable to most of us doesn't seem to require that.

"Extend the stay of the person(s) since they now hold this status."
