How long do i have to wait before changing employer if i file my I-485 on Feb 28, 03

Hello,
Can anyone please let me know how long do i have to wait before i change my employer. I have applied my I-485 on 28th Feb,03.
For example if i switch employer next month April, 03 what are the consequences? Is there any law which prohibits applicants not change employer after filing I-485.
Also what are the consequences if i switch after 6 months from filing i-485(Filing Date)
I will wait to see your answers/Suggestions in this case.

u can change ur jobs anytime, using H1 or EAD once u get one using the AC-21 rule. However, it is advisable to wait for 180 calendar days before changing as:
1. Your employer might get pissed off and revoke ur approved 140 which is the basis of ur 485. Hence, ur 485 might be denied

2. INS might adjudicate your case before 180 days (not very likely) or ask for some weird material from employer thru an RFE

3. Ur "intent" to work permanently for the sponsoring employer might be questioned if u leave immediately after applying for 485.

When u change, make sure u have similar job (get job desc from LC), u get a copy of 140 approval, new salary > poverty line.
