application package was sent to VAC on April 2, no receipts, check not cleared, what could happen? What can I do? Any input, please?

I have the same case. Filed I-485/EAD first week of April. No receipt notice.

Did you check up with your lawyer? Have you called VSC by yourself?

I am in the same boat. I called VSC and talked to IIO. she told me that receipt notice and number will be generated only after check is cashed. She doesn\'t know what may happen to my case and ask me to wait. BTW I saw people filed 485 in the middle of April, they already got receipt notice.
